Amazon visual production in China

Which visual assets should an Amazon product launch include?

Build the smallest connected system that can explain the product—from search result and detail page to deeper content and optional video.

Short answer

A typical launch starts with listing images. Add A+ Content when the product needs deeper explanation or brand context, and add video when movement, setup, fit or human interaction is important. Photography or CGI is not a separate marketing layer; it is the source material required to create those assets.

Foundation: listing images

Plan the main image and supporting sequence around product recognition, strongest benefits, dimensions or compatibility, use, objections and lifestyle context. Amazon recommends at least six images and supports up to nine photos on the product detail page.

Depth: A+ Content

Use A+ for materials, comparison, product range, brand story and information that cannot remain readable inside square listing images.

Demonstration: product video

Use video when motion, setup, sound-independent demonstration, fit or real use adds information that still images cannot communicate efficiently.

Reuse without repetition

The same approved photography can support listing, A+ and video planning, but each final asset should have a distinct role. Social and advertising cutdowns should be planned from the master production instead of improvised afterward.
